Perfect companion of Jad Freer Audio Domino power supply, Edison is a small switching module that allows you to transform any DC voltage, from 9 to 30VDC center negative, into a value selectable among 9,12,15,18, and 24vdc, with reverse polarity option.

The selection of voltage and polarity is very intuitive with two dedicated controls and highlighted by the respective led indicator.

To avoid any unwanted change, both controls are slightly below the enclosure’s surface: you will need to use a pencil / pen or any others pointed objects for editing. Your last setting get automatically stored with no risk at the next power up for the connected equipment.

Edison act also as voltage cleaner, filtering and stabilizing the output voltage of problematic PSU, ensuring your pedals to perform at best with no added noise or hum.

Another great benefit of a well filtered and engineered switching circuit is that it doesn’t generate magnetic fields in the audible bandwidth. This allows Edison and, as all PSU of the Domino line, to perform with no audible interferences with other devices or pickups, and be placed everywhere you need in your pedalboard or setup.

The module can manage up to 1500 mA, but of course the output performance will depend from the power supply source and the selected output voltage: for example, using a PSU that delivers 500mA @ 9vdc, if we want to obtain 18vdc, we’ll have an output of 250mA @ 18vdc:

0,5A x 9vdc = 4,5 Watt

4,5Watt / 18vdc = 0,25A
