VENERE

The VENERE (Italian for Venus, the goddess of love and beauty) series is designed around a very special custom 10” woofer with an extended frequency range up to 5kHz, above that, ultra highs are dealt by a silk dome tweeter, mounted concentrically. The series consist of 1×10”, 2×10” and 4×10”, the first two are perfectly stackable with each other and the 2×10” is stackable with the 4×10”. Dual sets of rubber feet enable vertical or horizontal positioning. The VENERE is our personal take of a hifi cab but made for the real world: articulate and detailed on all the spectrum, loud and efficient with a very fast response.

If you are looking for flat response and full articulation this is the series for you.

MINERVA

The MINERVA (goddess of wisdom, strategy and the sponsor of arts) series is designed around a custom 12” woofer and a great sounding, baffle mounted, compression tweeter for extra bite. The series consist of a 1×12”, a 2×12” and a 2×10” with a custom 10” woofer perfectly tuned to blend with the 12’s and build to be stackable. Each cabinet is exactly stackable with each other allowing the creation of custom rigs for every taste and situation. Dual sets of rubber feet enable vertical or horizontal positioning of the 1×12”.

The MINERVA is our personal take on a traditional bass sound with a punchy frequency response, fat or aggressive depending on your playing style: low-mid fatness for R&B and high-mid grint for classic rock drive players.

If you are looking for more fatness and a cutting-through tweeter this is the series for you.

A note on cab features and technical specifications:

We suggest to not try to compare cabs of different brands with declared specs. We have tried our best to write down the most sincere and measurable features possibile but, during our own testing process, we found out incoherent comparisons with other similar designs from competitors. This happens because there is not a clear, unified way to measure certain features and it’s quite easy to find the right perspective for declaring a higher number. What does this means in the real world? Well, for example that our cabs sounded louder and handled more power than other brands declaring much higher values. JF cabinets are the result of many years of experience and a full year of testing live and in the studio with different artist of international value, playing different kind of music from small bars to big stadiums: you can play a JF bass cab with trust on sound, performance and reliability.
